New pictures of the 2018 Genesis G70 rised up online.
The images, which were taken from soon to be released promotional video, show the Sedan will have a sporty front fascia with large intakes and prominent grille that is flanked by slender headlights. The styling continues further back as the car has aerodynamic side skirts, front fender vents, and a muscular sholder line. The rear looks pretty amazing too as the G70 has combined trunk spoiler and a sporty dual exhaust system. We can also see stylish taillights and a dark lower rear fascia.
Set to compete with the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes C-Class, the G70 will ride on the same rear-wheel platform that underpins the Kia Stinger. Next to that, officials have already confirmed the model is going to be shorter and lighter than its corporate counterpart and this should help to give the G70 a performance edge.
Engine options are expected to be shared between the two models and the images confirm this particular car has a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 engine. It produces 365 hp (272 Kw) and 376 Ib-ft (494 Nm) of torque in the Stinger. The engine should be joined by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 255 hp (190 Kw) and 260 Ib-ft (352 Nm) of torque. Both engines will e connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
